Hotel IT services
Hotel IT services: guest Wi-Fi, front-office systems and security that keep check-in moving.
Guests judge a hotel on its Wi-Fi, and an auditor judges it on whether that Wi-Fi can reach the card terminals. We have split company and VIP networks onto separate Cisco switches in Jebel Ali Free Zone and rolled out the same firewall standard across multiple UAE sites. 5,000+ clients served since 2004.
The problems we see
The IT problems hotels bring to us.
A hotel runs a public network and a payment network in the same building. They have to stay apart.
- Guest Wi-Fi complaints
- Dead spots in rooms and the lobby, one bandwidth pool shared by guests and staff, and no record of which access point failed.
- Guests on the same network as the PMS
- Front-office PCs, card terminals, the PMS server and guest Wi-Fi on one flat network, which widens PCI DSS scope and the attack surface.
- Shared front-desk logins
- One account per shift, passwords on a sticky note, and no way to tell who changed a booking or a rate.
- Systems from many vendors
- PMS, POS, door locks, IPTV, CCTV and phones each with their own supplier, and nobody looking at the network they all share.
- Guest data
- Passport copies, booking and payment details that fall under the UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
- Back office on one PC
- Accounts, HR and purchasing files on one machine or server that nobody has tried restoring.
Which of our services fit
What we run for a hotel.
- Wi-Fi survey, access points and structured cabling for rooms, lobby and back of house
- Separate networks for guests, staff, PMS and card terminals, with a firewall between them
- Helpdesk and onsite support for front office, back office and management, under managed IT or an AMC
- CCTV and door access on their own network, with recordings kept for the period you set
- 3CX phone system for reception, rooms and staff mobiles
- Microsoft 365, backups checked daily and endpoint protection on every staff PC
How it starts
From a walk-round to steady running.
- 1
Walk-round and network review
We walk the building, test Wi-Fi coverage, map the network and list every system and vendor that shares it.
- 2
Fixed quote and plan
A fixed quote after the walk-round, with changes ranked by risk to guests and to card payments.
- 3
Changes outside busy hours
Network separation and access-point work done in planned windows, floor by floor, with a way back at each step.
- 4
Monthly reporting
Support at the hours agreed in the contract, and a monthly report on tickets, Wi-Fi faults, patching and backups.

Questions
What hotel general managers and IT heads ask us.
Do you support the PMS itself?
Your PMS vendor supports the application. We look after the network, servers or cloud access, PCs, printers and backups it runs on, and we work with the vendor on faults so your team does not have to referee between suppliers.
How do you keep guest Wi-Fi away from card payments?
Guests, staff, the PMS, card terminals, CCTV and IPTV each get their own network zone. The firewall allows only the connections each one needs. This narrows PCI DSS scope; your payment provider and assessor confirm what is in scope.
What support hours do you cover? A hotel never closes.
Support hours and response targets are agreed in the contract, per priority. We set them around the systems that stop check-in or payments, and agree out-of-hours cover for those.
We are opening a new property. Can you set up the IT?
Yes. We plan cabling, Wi-Fi, firewall, CCTV, phones and Microsoft 365 with your fit-out contractor, and hand over documentation and admin accounts in your name.
Do you look after serviced apartments as well as hotels?
Yes. Serviced-apartment buildings have the same guest-network and payment questions, and often more remote sites, so we use the same network standard at each building.
What happens if we leave?
Your Microsoft tenant, domains, firewall and Wi-Fi admin accounts stay in your name, and the network diagrams and configuration backups we keep are handed over in writing.
