IT services — Sultanate of Oman
Enterprise IT for Oman, delivered honestly from next door.
Oman's economy runs through its ports and its industry — container traffic at Sohar and Salalah, the industrial estates behind them, the special economic zone at Duqm, and a Muscat corporate scene of trading houses, family groups and professional firms. Missan Global brings 22+ years of enterprise IT to Omani organisations: managed IT and monitoring, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 and Copilot, cloud backup, and windream document management as the exclusive windream partner for the Middle East — delivered remote-first from the UAE, with onsite phases scheduled across a border our engineers can drive.
Built around the Omani economy
A trading nation needs IT that keeps things moving.
Oman is ports, plants, resorts and head offices — environments where the cost of downtime is measured in vessels waiting, production hours lost and guests kept standing at reception.
Ports, logistics & free zones
Sohar, Salalah and Duqm anchor Oman’s position on global shipping lanes. Terminals, forwarders and free-zone operators depend on WMS and ERP uptime, resilient multi-site links and security that keeps cargo data moving as fast as the cargo.
Manufacturing & industry
The industrial estates around Sohar and across the Sultanate run plants where IT meets OT — segmented networks between production and office systems, dependable ERP connectivity and monitoring that respects 24/7 shift patterns.
Tourism & hospitality
From Muscat’s hotel scene to Salalah’s seasonal peaks, hospitality lives on guest experience — reliable guest Wi-Fi, PMS and POS uptime, and infrastructure that holds when occupancy spikes.
Muscat corporate & family groups
Trading houses, professional firms and multi-entity family groups in Muscat need what any modern head office needs: Microsoft 365 done properly, hardened security, controlled documents and one accountable IT partner.

The straight answer
How we serve Oman — honestly.
Missan Global has no office in Oman. Delivery is led remotely from our UAE headquarters, with onsite visits scheduled by arrangement — and because Oman borders the UAE, those visits are a drive, not an expedition. That is the model, stated plainly: an enterprise-grade UAE team instead of a local-shop compromise.
Remote-first delivery
Monitoring, helpdesk, security operations and Microsoft 365 management run from our UAE operations base — most of what a modern IT partner does never needed a local office.
Onsite by arrangement — by road
Oman borders the UAE, which makes it the most straightforward GCC country for onsite phases: our engineers travel for scheduled installations, migrations and maintenance visits, planned around your operations.
One partner across the Gulf
Head office in Muscat, sister company in Dubai? One agreement, one helpdesk and consolidated reporting across the UAE, Oman and the wider GCC.
Named escalation path
Business-critical incidents route to a senior engineer with a defined escalation path — not into a queue.
Client commitments
How Missan works with you.
The same published commitments apply whether your team sits in Sharjah, Dubai or Muscat.
One business day
New enquiries are answered by a senior person within one business day.
Senior escalation
Business-critical issues escalate to a senior engineer — not a ticket queue.
Onsite across the UAE
Local onsite response coordinated from our Sharjah HQ, serving every emirate.
Structured 30-day switch
Moving provider? A structured 30-day handover keeps your operations running.
IT services Oman — questions
What Omani organisations ask before engaging us.
Do you have an office in Muscat or elsewhere in Oman?
No — and we would rather be straight about that than pretend otherwise. Missan Global delivers to Oman from its UAE headquarters: monitoring, helpdesk, cybersecurity and Microsoft 365 management run remotely, and onsite engineering is scheduled by arrangement. You get an enterprise-grade UAE team rather than a small local outfit — with the delivery model stated plainly up front.
How do Omani organisations get windream?
Through Missan. Missan Global is the exclusive windream partner for the Middle East, so any organisation in Oman that wants the windream enterprise content and document management platform — records control, retention, approval workflows and audit trails — engages Missan for scoping, implementation and ongoing support. Discovery and configuration run remotely, with onsite workshops arranged where they add value.
Which services can you deliver to Oman fully remotely?
Managed IT and monitoring, helpdesk, cybersecurity and managed detection and response, Microsoft 365 and Copilot projects, FortGrid cloud backup and disaster recovery, and software and cloud licensing are all delivered remotely as standard. These services work the same for a Muscat office as they do for one in Sharjah — the distance simply does not enter into it.
Can you do onsite work in Oman?
Yes — by arrangement. Oman shares a land border with the UAE, so our engineers travel by road for planned installation, migration and maintenance phases. Onsite work is scheduled in advance as part of the project or agreement; we do not claim a local presence or promise onsite response times, and we would be wary of any remote provider that did.
How do you handle data residency and local compliance expectations?
We design around them rather than around our own convenience. Where national cybersecurity and data-protection expectations or your regulator call for data to stay in-country or in-region, we architect backup, hosting and document management accordingly — and windream’s records-management controls help evidence retention and access policies to auditors.
