Why local matters

Your IT company is based in Sharjah, not visiting it.

When something breaks, distance costs time. Our engineers start the day in Al Majaz.

Based in Sharjah since 2004
Our head office is on Lake Corniche Street in Al Majaz. Engineers start the day here, so a Sharjah site visit is a short drive.
Onsite when it matters
For a dead server, a failed switch or a security incident, the time it takes an engineer to arrive is the difference between an hour lost and a day lost.
Sharjah, Dubai and the northern emirates
Your Sharjah head office and branches in Dubai, Ajman or Ras Al Khaimah go under one agreement and one helpdesk.

Buyer's checklist

Choosing an IT company in Sharjah: six things to verify.

Use these on every provider on your shortlist. This is where Missan stands on each.

  1. Check 1

    Where the engineers sit

Ask where the onsite engineers start their day. Ours are at the Sharjah head office.

  2. Check 2

    Credentials you can verify

Check vendor directories. Missan is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider, Sangfor Gold Partner for the Middle East, exclusive windream partner for the region and a 3CX Partner.

  3. Check 3

    Reviews and track record

Read the Google reviews before the sales deck. Missan has 4.6★ rating from 200+ Google reviews and 5,000+ clients served since 2004.

  4. Check 4

    A written escalation path

When a critical ticket stalls, who do you call? Get the answer written into the agreement.

  5. Check 5

    Security discipline

Ask how the provider handles MFA, patching, backup tests and incident response, for clients and for itself.

  6. Check 6

    Pricing and reporting

A per-user or per-device price, and a monthly report you can show the board.

How to choose an IT company in Sharjah

Five red flags on a proposal.

Any of these is worth a question before you sign, whoever the provider is.

  • The Microsoft 365 tenant, domain or firewall is registered to the provider, not to you.
  • A price per user is given before anyone has looked at your network or servers.
  • Nobody can tell you who picks up a critical ticket after 17:00 on a Thursday.
  • Backups are "monitored", but nobody can show you the last restore test.
  • A migration plan with one cut-over weekend and no way back if it goes wrong.

Our position on each: if you leave, your Microsoft tenant and accounts stay in your name. Projects get fixed quotes after a site survey. Migrations are staged, with a way back. Restore tests appear in the monthly report.

Being straight with you

When Missan is probably not the right IT company.

  • You only want the cheapest price on a box of laptops. We do sell hardware, but we are not the lowest bidder on boxes alone.
  • You need a security operations centre staffed by people around the clock. Our monitoring and alerting are automated 24/7, and alerts go to our engineers during business hours and under any out-of-hours cover we agree.
  • You need an IT company whose staff work inside your office every day. We support from the Sharjah head office and come onsite on a schedule or when a fault needs hands.

Comparing more widely? Our guide to choosing an IT partner in the UAE and break-fix vs managed IT cover the wider decision.

Managed IT services in Sharjah

How the first 30 days work.

Onboarding takes about 30 days. Your current provider stays in place until our side is working.

  1. Site survey. An engineer visits your Sharjah office, counts users and devices, and looks at the network, servers and backups. You get a fixed quote after the site survey.
  2. Inventory and access. We list every device, account, licence and password, and confirm they are registered to your company.
  3. Urgent fixes first. MFA, patching and a backup restore test come before anything cosmetic.
  4. Helpdesk goes live. Staff get one email, phone number and WhatsApp for tickets.
  5. First monthly report. What we found, what we fixed and what is still open, in plain language.

Who you deal with

Your staff call the helpdesk. You talk to one person.

Staff raise tickets by email, phone or WhatsApp and reach the helpdesk engineers at the Sharjah head office. Problems the helpdesk cannot close go to an escalation engineer who already knows your setup.

Your IT manager or operations head has one account lead, who sends the monthly report and is who you call when something is going wrong.

Onsite engineers cover Sharjah, its free zones and the rest of the UAE. Offices abroad are supported remotely by our teams in the UAE, India and Uzbekistan.

IT support Sharjah, questions

Questions about IT companies in Sharjah.

Do you provide managed IT services in Sharjah, or only break-fix support?

Both. Managed IT services in Sharjah cover monitoring, security, Microsoft 365 administration, backup checks and a monthly report for a monthly fee. If you prefer, an IT AMC or ad-hoc support works too, and you can move between them.

Which are the best IT companies in Sharjah?

The honest answer is the one that passes your checks: engineers based in Sharjah, credentials you can verify, Google reviews you can read and a written escalation path. Shortlist three, ask each the same questions and compare the answers in writing. Missan Global has had its head office in Sharjah since 2004, with 5,000+ clients served since 2004 and 4.6★ from 200+ Google reviews.

How do I compare IT companies in Sharjah?

Ask four things: where the onsite engineers start their day, which vendor credentials you can verify in the vendor’s own directory, what the Google reviews say, and who you call when a critical ticket stalls. Missan Global answers all four from its Sharjah head office, with 5,000+ clients served since 2004.

What does a managed IT company in Sharjah actually do each month?

Runs the helpdesk, watches servers and backups, patches PCs, manages Microsoft 365 users and licences, and sends you a monthly report. Onsite visits happen on a schedule and when a fault needs hands. Onboarding takes about 30 days.

Do you have IT engineers based in Sharjah?

Yes. Our head office is in Sharjah on Lake Corniche Street, Al Majaz, and we have operated here since 2004. Onsite engineers go out from there.

Which areas of Sharjah do you cover?

All of Sharjah: Al Majaz, Lake Corniche, Al Khan, the industrial areas, University City, and the free zones including SAIF Zone, Hamriyah, SRTIP and Sharjah Publishing City. Branches in Dubai, Ajman and the northern emirates go under the same agreement.

What response times do you commit to?

Response targets are agreed per priority level and written into the contract. Anything the helpdesk cannot close is escalated to an engineer within your first-response target.

What is the difference between an IT AMC and managed IT in Sharjah?

An IT AMC covers support and scheduled maintenance for a fixed annual fee. Managed IT adds monitoring, security, Microsoft 365 administration, backup checks and a monthly report, for a monthly fee. We help you pick and move between them.

How is pricing worked out?

Per user or per device for support, based on a site review. Projects such as cabling, servers or a Microsoft 365 move get fixed quotes after a site survey. Our IT AMC cost guide gives indicative bands before you call.

How do you move us from our current setup without downtime?

We run staged migrations with a way back: users, mailboxes or servers move in batches, each batch is checked before the next, and the old system stays available until the new one is proven.

Can you complete our security questionnaire or supplier registration?

Yes. Send it through the enquiry form and we reply within one business day.

Can you support our offices outside the UAE?

Yes, remotely, for offices in the US, UK, India, Uzbekistan and the Middle East. ILLUMIN8’s cloud backups, including its India office, were set up this way.

Can Missan replace our current IT company, and what if we later leave?

Yes. Your current provider stays in place until our side is working. If you leave, your Microsoft tenant and accounts stay in your name, along with your domain and firewall, so leaving us is a written handover.

Is Missan a software company or an IT support company?

Both. Alongside helpdesk, infrastructure and security we deliver Microsoft 365, windream document management as the exclusive regional partner, 3CX phone systems and custom software.
