Hospitality and F&B IT, UAE

IT services for hospitality and F&B groups with more than one outlet.

When the internet drops at an outlet, the tills, delivery tablets and card terminals stop with it. We run one helpdesk for every site, keep POS on its own network and send a monthly report by outlet. It is the same multi-site model ILLUMIN8 uses across its offices, factory and warehouse in SAIF Zone.

What goes wrong

The IT problems F&B groups bring to us.

Outlets offline
One internet link per site and no backup line, so a single fault stops orders and payments.
POS on the guest network
Card terminals, tills and guest Wi-Fi sharing one flat network, which widens PCI DSS scope and the attack surface.
Shared logins
Managers sharing one email or POS admin account, with no record of who changed what.
Every site set up differently
Different routers, Wi-Fi and passwords at each outlet, so every fault starts from scratch.
Customer data
Loyalty, booking and delivery data that falls under the UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Head office backups
Accounts, HR and recipe files on one PC or server nobody has tried restoring.

What Missan does

One standard for every outlet.

  • Helpdesk by phone, email or WhatsApp for every outlet manager
  • Firewall, Wi-Fi and a backup internet link to one standard per site
  • POS and card terminals on their own network, apart from guest Wi-Fi
  • Microsoft 365 with individual accounts and MFA for managers
  • Daily backup checks for head office systems, with scheduled test restores
  • A monthly report by outlet: tickets, repeat faults and what to fix next

How it starts

From one site review to every outlet.

  1. 1

Review one outlet and head office

We list devices, links, networks and accounts, and note what is out of support.

  2. 2

    Set the site standard

A written standard for router, Wi-Fi, POS network and backup link, priced per site.

  3. 3

    Roll out outlet by outlet

Changes made outside trading hours where possible, starting with the busiest site.

  4. 4

    Report monthly

Tickets and faults by outlet, so you can see which site needs attention.

Questions

What F&B and hospitality operators ask us.

Do you support restaurant and café groups with many outlets?

Yes. Multi-site support is most of what we do: one helpdesk for every outlet, the same firewall and Wi-Fi standard at each site, and a monthly report that shows which outlet raises the most tickets. Engineers go onsite across the UAE from our Sharjah head office.

Does PCI DSS apply to us?

PCI DSS applies to any business that stores, processes or transmits payment card data, and to systems that can affect its security. Your acquirer decides how you prove compliance. We keep card terminals and POS on a separate network from guest Wi-Fi and office PCs, which shrinks the part of the network that is in scope.

Can you support our POS and delivery-platform tablets?

We look after the network, devices and internet links they run on, and we work with your POS vendor on the software side so your managers do not have to chase two companies.

What about guest Wi-Fi?

Guest Wi-Fi runs on its own network, separate from POS and back office, with bandwidth limits so a busy dining room does not slow the tills.

How do you price support for several outlets?

Per site and per device, based on a site review. You get a fixed monthly fee, and new outlets are added at the same rate.

How quickly do you reply to an enquiry?
