Microsoft Azure · migration, management and cost control
Move to Azure where it makes sense, and keep the bill under control.
Azure can retire an ageing server room, but it can also produce a monthly bill nobody expected. Missan assesses each workload first, moves what belongs in Azure with a rollback point, keeps data in UAE regions where you need it, and reviews the cost regularly afterwards. As a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider we can supply, set up and run it for you.

What we do
What we do in Azure.
Advice first, so only the workloads that suit Azure go there.
22+ years · 5,000+ clients served since 2004 · 10,000+ projects delivered since 2004
- Assessment
- Every server and application reviewed: move, keep, replace or retire, with monthly running cost estimates.
- Server migration
- File, application and database servers moved on a planned cut-over with a rollback point.
- Identity and security
- Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, network security and admin access set up before workloads arrive.
- Backup and recovery
- Azure backup and recovery configured and a restore tested, not just switched on.
- Cost control
- Right-sizing, shutdown schedules, reservations and budget alerts, reviewed on a schedule.
- Managed operations
- Patching, monitoring and changes handled, or a documented handover to your team.
How a project runs
Survey, fixed quote, then a staged rollout with a way back.
-
Step 1
Site survey
An engineer visits, records what is installed today and what the business needs from it, before anything is priced.
-
Step 2
Fixed quote
You get an equipment list, the labour, a schedule and one written price. Anything that changes on site is quoted in writing first.
-
Step 3
Staged rollout
One site, floor or group at a time. The old setup stays in place, with a tested way back, until the new one is proven.
-
Step 4
Handover and support
Documentation, admin access in your company’s name and a walkthrough. Then support under an AMC or managed IT if you want it.
After go-live
What stays true.
- An honest answer when Azure is not the right place.
- Running costs estimated in writing before you commit.
- UAE regions used where data residency matters.
- A rollback point for every cut-over.
- Spending alerts so the bill does not surprise you.
- Documentation that belongs to you.
Support runs Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00 and Saturday 08:30–14:00 (Dubai time), with out-of-hours cover agreed in the contract where you need it. We reply within one business day to anything that is not urgent. See IT AMC contracts and managed IT services.
Questions
What buyers ask before they sign.
Should our servers move to Azure at all?
Not always. Some workloads are cheaper and simpler on Azure, some are better on a UAE private cloud or kept on site, and some can be retired. We start with an assessment of each server and application and tell you which is which, with rough monthly running costs for each option.
Can our data stay in the UAE?
Microsoft runs Azure regions in the UAE. We can design so that your data and backups stay in those regions, and document it for your data protection records.
What about our ERP and line-of-business apps?
We check with the software vendor what they support, test the application in Azure before the cut-over, and agree a rollback point. If an application is not suited to Azure, we say so.
Azure bills keep growing. Can you help?
Yes. We review what is running, switch off what is idle, right-size machines, and look at reservations and savings plans where they fit. You get a list of changes with the expected effect before anything is touched.
Can you bill Azure for us?
Yes. As a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider we can supply Azure alongside Microsoft 365 on one bill, with spending alerts set up so there are no surprises.
Who looks after it after the move?
We can manage it for you, covering backups, patching, monitoring and cost reviews, or hand over to your own team with documentation.
How is a migration priced?
A fixed project fee agreed after the assessment, plus the Azure running cost, which we estimate for you in writing before you decide.
