Questions
What buyers ask before they sign.
Do we already have Intune?
Possibly. Intune is included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium and in the E3 and E5 plans, so many companies already pay for it without using it. We check your licences first, and only suggest buying something if there is a real gap.
Can Intune manage personal phones without seeing private data?
Yes. For staff-owned phones we use app protection, which controls company data inside Outlook, Teams and OneDrive only. The company can wipe its own data when someone leaves, but cannot see or wipe their photos, messages or personal apps.
What happens to existing laptops?
They are enrolled in batches, starting with a small pilot group. Settings are applied in stages and checked before the next batch, so if a policy causes a problem we can pull it back before it reaches everyone.
Can new laptops be set up without IT touching them?
Yes, with Windows Autopilot. A new laptop can be shipped straight to the employee; they sign in with their work account and it installs the company apps and settings by itself. It is especially useful for remote staff and branch offices.
What about Macs and iPhones?
Intune manages macOS, iOS and iPadOS as well as Windows and Android. Apple devices need an Apple Business Manager account for the smoothest setup, and we help you create it in your company’s name.
What do we get when someone leaves?
A clear offboarding step: the account is disabled, company data on their devices is removed, and company-owned laptops can be locked and reset remotely, so they can be reissued.
How is it priced?
A one-off setup quoted after we review your devices and licences, then device management can be part of your monthly support. You get the fixed quote before we start.
