Manufacturing IT services
Manufacturing IT services: plant networks, ERP and security that keep production running.
When the ERP or the plant network stops, so do production orders, dispatch and invoicing. We look after engineering IT for Spatial Composite Solutions in Ras Al Khaimah, run IT across offices, a factory and a warehouse for ILLUMIN8, and we have built and run dedicated offshore teams for manufacturers.
What we look after
The systems a plant depends on.
Office IT and production IT need different rules. We run both and keep them apart.
- Plant and office networks
- Separate network zones for production and office, firewalls between them, and Wi-Fi that reaches the shop floor and the warehouse.
- OT/IT separation
- PLCs, HMIs and SCADA servers kept off the office network, with only the connections production needs and logged remote access for machine vendors.
- ERP uptime
- The servers, storage, network and backups under your ERP and MES, with your software vendor handling the application and us handling the rest.
- Backup and disaster recovery
- ERP databases, engineering files and file servers backed up, checked daily and restored on a schedule, with a copy that ransomware cannot reach.
- Cybersecurity
- Endpoint protection, MFA, firewall rules, patching and admin accounts kept under control, including on machine PCs that cannot take every update.
- Multi-site and Microsoft 365
- The same firewall, backup and Microsoft 365 set-up at every plant, office and warehouse, with Teams and SharePoint for engineering and office staff.
What plant and IT heads ask for
Fewer stoppages, and evidence for the board.
- A production line does not stop because an office PC caught ransomware
- ERP and MES restored within an agreed time, tested before you need it
- Machine vendors connect only when you let them, and every session is logged
- Design files in one controlled place, not on personal Dropbox accounts
- One standard across plants, so a new site is set up the same way
- A monthly report on tickets, patching, backups and what we fix next
How it starts
From site survey to steady running.
- 1
Site survey and network review
We walk the plant and offices, map the network, list the systems that stop production and check backups and remote access.
- 2
Fixed quote and plan
A fixed quote after the site survey, with changes ranked by risk. Production-side work is planned with your plant engineers.
- 3
Staged changes
Network separation and migrations done in stages, in planned windows, with a way back at each step.
- 4
Onboarding and monthly reporting
Onboarding usually takes about 30 days. After that you get support at the hours agreed in the contract and a monthly report.

Questions
What manufacturing IT and operations heads ask us.
Do you work with manufacturers?
Yes. We look after engineering IT for Spatial Composite Solutions, a composites manufacturer in Ras Al Khaimah, run IT across offices, a factory and a warehouse for ILLUMIN8 in SAIF Zone, and secured and hosted production workloads for a UAE manufacturer on a private cloud. We have also built and run dedicated offshore teams for manufacturers.
How do you separate the plant network from the office network?
We put production systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA servers, machine PCs) in their own network zone behind a firewall, allow only the connections the plant actually needs, and keep remote access for machine vendors on named, logged accounts that are switched off when not in use. Changes on the production side are agreed with your plant engineers and made in planned windows.
Do you support our ERP?
We look after the servers, network, backups and access that the ERP runs on, and we work with your ERP vendor or partner on application issues so your team does not have to referee between two suppliers.
What support hours do you cover? We run shifts.
Support hours are agreed in the contract. Many plants run longer hours than the office, so we set the cover and the response targets per priority to match your shift pattern and the systems that stop production.
We have plants in more than one country. Can you cover them?
Engineers go onsite anywhere in the UAE. Sites in the US, UK, India, Uzbekistan and the wider Middle East are supported remotely, with local hands arranged for physical work. Every site gets the same firewall, backup and Microsoft 365 standards.
Can you set up a dedicated team for us offshore?
Yes. Through our Global Capability Centre we build a team in India or Uzbekistan that works only for you: IT operations, service desk, Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, security monitoring or software support. We employ and run it, and you can take it in-house later.
What happens if we leave?
Your Microsoft tenant, domains and admin accounts stay in your name, and the network diagrams, passwords and configuration backups we keep are handed over in writing.
