Email security · Microsoft 365 and other mail systems
Email security for UAE businesses that stops phishing and fake invoices before staff see them.
Most attacks on UAE companies start with an email: a fake login page, a spoofed supplier asking to change bank details, or an attachment that should never have arrived. Missan sets up filtering, domain protection (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), MFA and staff training in stages, so security improves without legitimate mail going missing. 5,000+ clients served since 2004.

What we do
What we set up.
We start with what you already pay for, then add only what your risk needs.
22+ years · 5,000+ clients served since 2004 · 10,000+ projects delivered since 2004
- Microsoft 365 security settings
- Anti-phishing, anti-malware, safe links and safe attachments policies reviewed and switched on.
- Domain protection
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC published in stages, so nobody can easily send mail pretending to be you.
- Email filtering gateway
- Where the risk calls for it, a dedicated filter in front of your mailboxes with quarantine and staff digests.
- Account protection
- MFA on every mailbox, old protocols turned off, and alerts for suspicious sign-ins and forwarding rules.
- Payment fraud controls
- External sender tags, lookalike-domain checks and a call-back rule for any change of bank details.
- Staff awareness
- Short training and simulated phishing, plus one simple way to report a suspicious email.
How a project runs
How we start.
Nothing is switched to blocking until you have seen what it would block.
-
Step 1
Email review
We check your domain records, mail settings, MFA coverage and forwarding rules, and show you the gaps.
-
Step 2
Fixed quote
What we will change, in what order, and the monthly cost per mailbox, written down.
-
Step 3
Staged rollout
Filters and DMARC start in monitoring mode, then tighten in steps. Every change can be rolled back if something legitimate is caught.
-
Step 4
Run and report
We watch quarantine and alerts, release what is genuine and report what was stopped each month.
After go-live
What you can count on.
- Changes made in stages, each with a way back.
- Admin access stays in your company’s name.
- Quarantined mail can be released on request.
- Everything we configure is documented.
- Support hours are written into the contract.
- A fixed quote before any work starts.
Support runs Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00 and Saturday 08:30–14:00 (Dubai time), with out-of-hours cover agreed in the contract where you need it. We reply within one business day to anything that is not urgent. See IT AMC contracts and managed IT services.
Questions
What buyers ask before they sign.
Is Microsoft 365 email security not enough on its own?
For some small offices it is, once it is set up properly: MFA on every account, anti-phishing and safe-link policies switched on, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC published. Many tenants we see have none of that configured. Where the risk is higher, for example finance teams handling supplier payments, we add a dedicated email security gateway in front of Microsoft 365.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and why do they matter?
They are DNS records that tell other mail servers which systems may send email for your domain. Without them, anyone can send mail that looks like it came from you, and your own invoices are more likely to land in junk. We publish them in stages, starting with DMARC in monitoring mode so nothing legitimate is blocked.
Will a new filter block emails we need?
It can if it is switched on carelessly. We start in a monitoring or tagging mode, review what would have been blocked with you, then tighten the rules. Quarantined mail can be released, and staff get a simple digest so they can ask for a message back.
We were hit by a fake supplier invoice. Can you help now?
Yes. We check the mailbox rules, sign-ins and forwarding on the affected accounts, reset access and switch on MFA, then look at how the message got through. If money has been sent, call your bank first; we help with the evidence they and the police will ask for.
Do you train staff as well?
Yes. Filtering catches most bad mail, but not all of it. We run short phishing awareness sessions and simulated phishing emails, and give staff one clear way to report a suspicious message.
Which email systems do you work with?
Mostly Microsoft 365, where we are a Microsoft partner. We also protect Google Workspace and on-premises Exchange, and can move you to Microsoft 365 if that is the plan.
How is email security priced?
Usually per mailbox per month, plus a one-off setup. You get a fixed quote after we have reviewed your domain records and mail settings.
