- Sizing and supply
- Throughput sized to your real internet links and user count, with headroom for the security features you switch on. Datasheet figures assume those features are off.
- Rules and segmentation
- Separate networks for staff, guests, cameras, phones and servers, with only the traffic each one needs allowed between them.
- VPN
- Site-to-site links between offices and remote-access VPN for staff, with multi-factor sign-in where supported.
- Web filtering and threat protection
- Category filtering, intrusion prevention and malware scanning, tuned so they block what matters without breaking business apps.
- High availability
- A second unit or a second internet line where an outage would stop the business, tested by pulling a cable before handover.
- Replacing an old firewall
- We export and review the existing rules, drop the ones nobody uses, and migrate the rest to the new unit.

An engineer visits, records what is installed today and what the business needs from it, before anything is priced.

Fixed quote
You get an equipment list, the labour, a schedule and one written price. Anything that changes on site is quoted in writing first.

Staged rollout
One site, floor or group at a time. The old setup stays in place, with a tested way back, until the new one is proven.

Handover and support
Documentation, admin access in your company’s name and a walkthrough. Then support under an AMC or managed IT if you want it.
After go-live
What firewall support covers.
- Firmware updates applied in an agreed maintenance window, after a configuration backup.
- Security subscription and licence renewals tracked, with a quote sent before expiry.
- Configuration backed up after every change, so a failed unit can be replaced from the last good copy.
- Rule changes, new VPN users and new sites handled as normal support requests.
- A periodic rule review to remove access nobody needs any more.
- Alerts from the firewall routed to our helpdesk and escalated to an engineer within your first-response target.
Support runs Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00 and Saturday 08:30–14:00 (Dubai time), with out-of-hours cover agreed in the contract where you need it. We reply within one business day to anything that is not urgent. See IT AMC contracts and managed IT services.

Which firewall brands do you supply and support?
We supply, install and support firewalls from vendors including Fortinet (FortiGate), SonicWall, Sangfor and Check Point. Missan is a Sangfor Gold Partner. We recommend a brand after the survey, based on your internet links, number of sites, remote users and budget.
Can you take over a firewall another company installed?
Yes. We back up the current configuration first, document the rules that are in use, and only then make changes. If the admin password or licence account is held by the previous provider, we help you recover it in your company’s name.
Our firewall subscription is about to expire. What happens?
Most firewalls keep passing traffic, but security updates, web filtering and threat signatures stop. We track renewal dates for the firewalls we support and send you a quote before the expiry, not after.
Will the office lose internet during the changeover?
Cutover is planned for a quiet window, usually after hours or on a Saturday afternoon. The old firewall stays racked and configured until the new one has run cleanly, so we can switch back in the same window if something does not work.
Can you set up VPN for remote staff and branch offices?
Yes. Site-to-site VPN between offices, and remote-access VPN for staff with multi-factor sign-in where the firewall supports it. For Dicetek we configured a new firewall for its India office and renewed the head office firewall.
How is a firewall project priced?
A fixed quote covering the hardware, the security subscription for the term you choose, and the installation labour. Ongoing management can be added as a monthly line or included in an AMC.
