Microsoft Teams calling · office phones in Teams
Use Microsoft Teams as your office phone, on your existing UAE numbers.
Your staff already live in Teams. Missan connects Teams to a 3CX business phone system so company calls ring in Teams on laptops and mobiles, your numbers stay with your telecom operator, and reception, queues and menus keep working. Set up by a 3CX and Microsoft partner with 5,000+ clients served since 2004.

- Your numbers stay on your own telecom account.
- The phone system and admin access are in your company’s name.
- Call flows are documented and the documents are yours.
- No new licences unless there is a real gap.
- Support hours are written into the contract.
- The old setup stays ready until the new one is proven.

Questions
What buyers ask before they sign.
Can we make normal phone calls from Microsoft Teams in the UAE?
Yes, with the right setup. Voice calls in the UAE have to run over a licensed telecom operator, so the usual way is to connect Teams to a business phone system that already uses your company lines. We do that with 3CX. Staff then call and answer from Teams, and your numbers stay with your operator.
Do we keep our existing numbers?
Yes. Your numbers stay on your telecom account. The phone system routes them, and Teams becomes one of the places a call can ring, alongside desk phones and the mobile app if you want them.
What do users actually see?
Calls ring in Teams on the laptop and on the Teams mobile app. Staff can dial out, transfer, put on hold and see who is busy, without a separate phone app. Reception can still use a desk phone or console if they prefer.
What about an auto attendant, queues and call recording?
They live in the phone system: menu greetings in Arabic and English, ring groups, queues, office hours, voicemail to email and recording where you need it. Teams simply becomes a handset for those calls.
Do we need new Microsoft licences?
It depends on the integration route and your current plan. We check your licences first and only recommend a change if there is a real gap, with the cost written down before anything is bought.
Can branches and remote staff use it?
Yes. Anyone with Teams and the right permissions can take company calls from another emirate or another country, which is often the main reason companies ask for it.
What if we already have a 3CX or another phone system?
If you run 3CX, we connect it to Teams. If you run something else, we look at whether it can be integrated or whether moving to 3CX is simpler, and give you both options in writing.
