SD-WAN · multi-site and branch networks
Every branch on one network, still working when a line goes down.
When a branch loses its internet line, sales stop, calls drop and the ERP freezes. Missan connects offices, warehouses and shops across the UAE and beyond into one secure network, with backup lines that take over automatically and priority for the traffic that matters. Sites move one at a time, with the old link kept until the new one is proven.

Multi-site rollout (anonymised)
Ageing firewalls at several industrial and trading sites replaced with one standard Sangfor next-generation firewall estate.
ILLUMIN8 FZE · SAIF Zone
Warehouse network and firewall installed, with the Dubai site linked to head office over VPN.
Dicetek · UAE and India
A new firewall configured for the India office and the head office firewall renewed, with secure remote access for both teams.
What we do
What we build.
Designed around how many sites you have and what stops when a line drops.
22+ years · 5,000+ clients served since 2004 · 10,000+ projects delivered since 2004
- Site survey
- Every site’s lines, equipment and critical applications recorded before anything is designed.
- Dual lines and failover
- A second line or 5G backup where an outage stops work, switching over automatically.
- Traffic priority
- Calls, ERP and point-of-sale ahead of downloads and streaming.
- One security policy
- The same firewall rules and web filtering at every site, managed centrally.
- Site-to-site and remote access
- Branches, head office, cloud services and remote staff on one secure network.
- Monitoring
- Line and link health watched, so a failing connection is spotted early.
How a project runs
Survey, fixed quote, then a staged rollout with a way back.
-
Step 1
Site survey
An engineer visits, records what is installed today and what the business needs from it, before anything is priced.
-
Step 2
Fixed quote
You get an equipment list, the labour, a schedule and one written price. Anything that changes on site is quoted in writing first.
-
Step 3
Staged rollout
One site, floor or group at a time. The old setup stays in place, with a tested way back, until the new one is proven.
-
Step 4
Handover and support
Documentation, admin access in your company’s name and a walkthrough. Then support under an AMC or managed IT if you want it.
After go-live
What stays true.
- SD-WAN only where a simpler VPN will not do.
- Your existing internet lines used where possible.
- Sites moved one at a time, outside working hours.
- The old link kept until the new one is proven.
- Configuration backed up and documented.
- Network diagrams that belong to you.
Support runs Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00 and Saturday 08:30–14:00 (Dubai time), with out-of-hours cover agreed in the contract where you need it. We reply within one business day to anything that is not urgent. See IT AMC contracts and managed IT services.
Questions
What buyers ask before they sign.
What is SD-WAN, in plain terms?
A way of connecting your offices, warehouses and shops over ordinary internet lines so they behave like one network. It can use two internet lines at once, fail over automatically when one drops, and give important traffic such as calls and ERP priority over everything else.
Do we need SD-WAN, or is a site-to-site VPN enough?
For two or three sites with one line each, a well-built VPN between firewalls is often enough. SD-WAN earns its place when you have more sites, more than one line per site, or applications that suffer when a line is slow. We tell you which fits.
Can it use our existing internet lines?
Usually yes. Most designs use the business lines you already have, often adding a second line or a 5G backup at sites where an outage stops work.
Which products do you use?
We deploy and support the SD-WAN features of leading next-generation firewall platforms, including Sangfor, where Missan is a Gold partner, and Fortinet. The choice depends on what you already run and how many sites you have.
Can sites outside the UAE be connected?
Yes. Offices elsewhere in the GCC or further afield can join the same network, and Missan has teams in 3 countries to help with sites abroad.
How disruptive is the switch-over?
Sites are moved one at a time, usually outside working hours, with the old connection kept until the new one is proven.
How is it priced?
Hardware and licences per site plus a fixed project fee, quoted in writing after a survey of your sites and lines.
