One of the retailer's outlets had no internet, and the site-to-site VPN back to the business was not working. Staff also needed secure remote access.
What we delivered
A Missan engineer attended on site and worked on the store's Fortinet firewall:
- Investigated and fixed the internet outage
- Troubleshot the site-to-site VPN, then restored and verified connectivity
- Created and tested a new SSL VPN user so remote access was available
- Reconfigured the Fortinet firewall as part of the visit
The outcome
All three issues were resolved in a single visit, with internet, the branch VPN and remote access confirmed working.
