As the annual licences came up for renewal, the risk was a gap between the old licence expiring and the renewed licence arriving, which could put features and support on the production platform at risk.
What we delivered
Missan's MSP team managed the renewal end to end with Sangfor's regional team:
- Collected the device information files from both clusters
- Supplied the cluster and node identifiers Sangfor asked for, one cluster at a time
- Arranged temporary licences to cover the period until the renewal was issued
The outcome
The renewed licence was applied to both nodes and confirmed to the client's IT lead, valid until March 2027.
The renewal was closed about one month after it started.
The business case
The client's IT team did not have to deal with the vendor: Missan handled the identifiers, temporary licences and renewal. The production clusters stayed licensed and supported throughout.
