Managed IT · AI readiness · UAE
Getting your business ready for AI starts with the IT you already have.
AI assistants such as Microsoft 365 Copilot can only see what your staff can see. If permissions, identity and data are messy, AI makes the mess easier to find. We get the foundations right, then manage them month after month as part of your IT.
Before you switch AI on
What has to be in order first.
None of this is new technology. It is ordinary IT hygiene that matters more once AI can search everything.
Oversharing
SharePoint sites shared with “Everyone”, OneDrive links that never expire, HR folders open to the whole company. Copilot respects permissions, so wrong permissions become visible answers.
Identity and MFA
Every account needs MFA, leavers need switching off on the day, and admin roles need limiting. AI tools sign in with the same identities.
Knowing which data is sensitive
Payroll, contracts, client data. Labelling and retention policies decide what AI can use and what it should not touch.
Licences and who gets a seat
Copilot licences are a real cost. Choosing the roles that benefit, and measuring use, keeps the spend sensible.
Shadow AI
Staff paste company data into free AI tools when no approved option exists. A clear policy and an approved tool reduce that risk.
Managed devices
AI on a personal phone or an unmanaged laptop is hard to control. Managed devices and conditional access keep company data on company terms.
What we prepare and then manage
- Microsoft 365 tenant review: sharing settings, admin roles, guest access and security defaults
- SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive permission clean-up before Copilot is switched on
- Identity: MFA for every user, conditional access and same-day leaver process
- Sensitivity labels and retention policies for data that must stay restricted
- Copilot licence planning: which roles first, and how use is measured
- An acceptable-use policy for AI tools that staff can actually follow
- Ongoing management: new sites and teams set up with the right permissions, monthly checks for oversharing, licence reviews
- 24/7 automated monitoring and alerting, with engineer response in business hours and agreed out-of-hours cover
From review to managed AI use
- 1
Readiness review
We look at your Microsoft 365 tenant, permissions, identity, devices and licences, and list what would go wrong if AI were switched on today.
- 2
Fix the foundations
Permission clean-up, MFA and conditional access, labels for sensitive data and a short AI use policy, agreed with your management.
- 3
Pilot
A small group of users in roles that benefit gets AI tools first. We check what it can reach and gather feedback before a wider rollout.
- 4
Roll out
Licences are extended to the roles that showed value, with short training on good prompts and on what not to paste.
- 5
Manage month by month
New sites, new staff and leavers keep changing your data. We keep permissions, identity and licences in order as part of your managed IT.
Why one provider for IT and AI
Missan is a Microsoft partner and has run IT for UAE businesses for 22+ years, with 5,000+ clients served since 2004. AI readiness is not a separate project for us: it is the same identity, permission and device management we already do, held to a higher standard.
Buyers increasingly want one trusted provider who runs the helpdesk, security, Microsoft 365 and now AI, instead of a separate consultant for each. One provider means the person fixing permissions is the person who set them up and will be checking them next month.
For the Microsoft 365 administration and Copilot readiness service itself, see Microsoft 365, Copilot and Defender. For AI solutions built on your data, see the Microsoft AI solutions partner page.

Common questions
What does "AI-ready IT" mean?
Your identities are secured with MFA, permissions on files and sites match who should see them, sensitive data is labelled, devices are managed and there is a clear policy on which AI tools staff may use.
Why does Copilot need a permissions clean-up?
Microsoft 365 Copilot shows users content they already have access to. If a salary file is shared with everyone, Copilot can surface it. Fixing permissions first prevents that.
Do we need to be on Microsoft 365?
For Copilot, yes. The same readiness work, identity, permissions and data policies, also applies to other AI tools your staff might use.
Can you manage this as part of our existing IT support?
Yes. AI readiness and ongoing governance can be added to a managed IT or AMC contract, so the same team handles helpdesk, security and Microsoft 365.
Are you a Microsoft partner?
Yes. Missan is a Microsoft partner and can also supply Microsoft 365 and Copilot licences.
How long does readiness take?
It depends on the size and state of your tenant. The readiness review tells you what needs fixing and gives a written plan before any work starts.
