Questions
What buyers ask before they sign.
Are you a managed cloud service provider for Qatar companies?
Yes. Missan runs Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and private cloud environments for companies in Qatar, delivered from our head office in Sharjah, UAE. Onsite engineering phases in Doha are scheduled by arrangement.
Do you have an office in Qatar?
Qatar is served from our UAE headquarters. Missan is headquartered in Sharjah, with teams in 3 countries. Cloud management, monitoring and helpdesk work remotely by design, and Doha is a short flight away when a project needs engineers onsite.
Can our data stay in Qatar?
Where a regulator or contract requires it, we design around Microsoft Azure’s Qatar Central region, and we document which data sits where, including backups. Data residency requirements are confirmed in writing before any design is agreed.
What does managed cloud include?
Design and migration, identity and access, security baselines, monitoring and patching, backups with tested restores, cost reviews and a monthly report. Scope and response targets are written into the contract.
What hours does the service cover?
24/7 automated monitoring and alerting, with engineer response in UAE business hours and agreed out-of-hours cover for workloads you name as critical.
Public cloud or private cloud?
It depends on the workload. Microsoft 365 and many applications suit Azure; some ERP and file workloads run better on a private cloud such as Sangfor HCI. We recommend per workload and write down why.
