Why is IT for a family office different?
A small team handles very sensitive information: investments, property, legal documents and family members’ personal details. Several companies and trusts often sit under one office, and family members use their own devices. The risk is high even though the user count is small, so security and discretion matter more than in a typical office of the same size.
Do you support family members as well as staff?
Yes, where you want us to. We can secure the email accounts and devices family members use for office business, set up MFA and help them spot fraud attempts, with the same discretion as for staff.
We have several companies. Do they each need separate IT?
Not always. Each legal entity may need its own Microsoft 365 setup or separate permissions, but support, security policies and reporting can be run as one. We did exactly that for a multi-entity group in the UAE.
How do you protect against payment fraud?
Email filtering, domain protection (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), MFA on every account and a written call-back rule for any change of bank details. Most fraud against family offices is a convincing email, not a technical break-in.
Who at Missan will see our information?
Only the engineers who need to, under confidentiality terms in the contract. Admin access stays in your name, and we can sign your own NDA if you prefer.
