The challenge
What the client needed.
An aluminium fabrication company in Dubai was running an old firewall at its office.
It needed it replaced with a current, supported unit, without a long outage to the factory's internet.
What we delivered
Missan supplied a Fortinet FortiGate 30G next-generation firewall. On the day the job was assigned, our field engineer collected the unit and went to site. There we:
- Removed the old firewall
- Installed and configured the FortiGate 30G
- Restored internet connectivity through the new unit
- Handed the old firewall back to the client's site contact
A completion report was sent to the client the same day.
The outcome
The replacement was finished in a single visit, with internet confirmed working through the new firewall.
The business case
A small business moved onto a supported, current-generation firewall with a single visit and no project overhead. It is a good repeatable template for SME firewall refreshes.
